The Chainsmokers win four Billboard Music Awards; Lindsey Stirling wins Top Dance/Electronic Album

The Chainsmokers were nominated for 16 Billboard Music Awards, and took home four titles over the weekend including Top Dance/Electronic Artist, Top Single, Top Collaboration, and Top Dance/Electronic Music song.

However, when it came down to the award for Top Dance/Electronic Album (a category in which both their Collage and Bouquet EPs were nominated), American violinist and producer Lindsey Stirling beat out the duo, as well as Flume and Kygo.

At the awards ceremony, The Chainsmokers played an acoustic performance of “Young,” the penultimate song off their debut album, Memories… Do Not Open. Watch Alex and Drew’s pyrotechnic-assisted performance below:
