Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike remixed the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ theme

As Jack Sparrow, played as always by Johnny Depp, staggers and swaggers his way into a fifth nautical adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean’s swashbuckling theme has received a new remix courtesy of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. While only a preview of the remix is currently available, the glimpse at the reproduction is certainly enough to pique fan interest.

The duo maintain Hans Zimmer‘s iconic string theme and supplement it with brightly colored synths. They are able to keep the franchise’s musical cues intact while inverting them into a heavily electronic, surprisingly danceable rework.
