GRIZ’s Middlelands set interrupted by fan stuck in tree

Though festival season may just have started, the Internet has already been graced with viral moments that just seem to get better every year. At Ultra Music Festival we were introduced to a patron who decided to climb a tree to get a higher view of the festival grounds, thankfully returning to the ground safely. However at Middlelands Festival, another attendee attempted to do the same and in turn, had to be rescued from the tree. Interrupting GRIZ’s set at the main stage, the event was briefly placed on hold until the stranded patron was helped down by the rescue team on site.

The latest of Insomniac’s extravagant projects, this medieval-themed festival debuted for its first time this year in Texas, hosting an impressive well-rounded lineup of DJ’s including Bassnectar, Zhu, and Kaskade.
