Louis Futon makes his instant flip of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘PRIDE.’ available for download
Louis Futon has established a strong presence for himself in the left-field bass arena throughout his relatively short career, gaining traction with eclectic, yet impactful remixes to pieces such as Gallant‘s “Weight In Gold” in addition to his own original work.
In case anyone doubted his talent, the burgeoning producer recently took to his Facebook in a stunning demonstration of his skills and keen ear for tune-making by creating a flip of “PRIDE.” off Kendrick Lamar‘s new album DAMN. Within a brief clip stretching just over two-minutes, Futon threw together a medley of sonic elements around the sample he chose, weaving it into an intriguing clip of music that left his fans itching for more — and making it all seem so easy in the process. He’s since answered their call, polishing the finished product into yet another dynamic re-work for his repertoire and in record time as well. The video received such a positive response that Futon has since posted the completed re-work as a free download on his Soundcloud.
