Major Lazer, DJ Snake and MØ’s ‘Lean On’ hits two billion views on YouTube
Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s “Lean On,” featuring MØ, is one of those unique songs that fits into playlists at weddings, birthday parties, clubs, and radio stations across the globe. After its release in March 2015, the song became a global phenomenon that topped every chart.
Despite having been released two years ago, the track’s ascension continues to this day. Yesterday, April 30, the music video hit two billion views on YouTube, making it among the top ten most watched YouTube videos in the world. Other top ten videos include Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off,” and Psy’s “Gangnam Style.”
Both Major Lazer and DJ Snake took to social media to thank their fans, where they received congratulations from peers such as Alesso and GTA.
