Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective debut two new playlists for the start of festival season

Mixmag and the Smirnoff Sound Collective have come together to debut two curated playlists perfect for the start of festival season. The breadth of styles covered in both guarantee that no matter one’s taste, there is a selection of tunes available to get the party started.

The first playlist is curated by Smirnoff Sound Collective mentor Marc Kinchen, better known by his stage name MK. MK’s playlist focuses on the best of house, featuring his remixes of Rihanna and RÜFÜS DÜ SOL, as well selections from the likes of Lee Foss, Shiba San, and Justin Martin. It’s the perfect complement to the first of many rooftop parties to come this summer.

The second playlist is curated by SSC artists Amtrac, Julia Govor, Cry Baby, OCEANVS ORIENTALIS, and Gina Turner. These artists reached into deeper, more techno-oriented realms — a perfect complement to Movement in Detroit this Memorial Day Weekend. Still, it’s a powerful enough playlist that it will stay in rotation for weeks to come.
