Pigeons have been carrying messages from point A to point B for centuries, known as the world oldest couriers, pigeons have been a means of delivery before technology made communication easier. However, in contemporary times, it seems as if the pigeon is being used for criminal activities.

In Kuwait, a homing pigeon was caught transporting drugs by custom officials. Around 178 pills were found wrapped around the bird that reportedly came from Iraq and was being tracked by the customs department. According to, Al Arabiya, a Saudi-owned pan-Arab television news channel, the pigeon was caught by the officials above a building near their office. No one currently knows the source of the drugs, but details will soon be developing.
