Watch Snails and Botnek’s bizarre new music video for ‘Waffle House’

Canadian producers Snails and Botnek are no strangers to working with each other. The Québécois purveyor of “vomitstep” last joined forces with the Nova Scotian duo for “Happy Hour” last summer. Now, the partnership has released its newest OWSLA-backed output, “Waffle House.”

The frenetic, bass driven house production – released today, May 9 – is as formidable as one might expect from the two acts’ joint efforts, and its accompanying music video is appropriately absurd. Director Ernest Desumbila revels in Trippy Burger-esque aesthetics and a plot line which would be at home in an episode of Rick and Morty. Watch anthropomorphic Waffle House menu items terrorize a city in the video above, and stream the song itself below:
