Ariana Grande’s label donates $500k to Manchester Memorial Fund

Ariana Grande’s benefit concert for victims of the Manchester terror attack, which took place after her concert in the city on May 22, is set to take place today, June 4. Ahead of the show, her record label Universal Music Group also showed their support for the city and Grande’s initiative.

The label donated $500,000 to the We Love Manchester Memorial Fund, stating they were “proud to stand with Ariana Grande and its other performing artists in their support for the victims and families affected by the Manchester attack.” Twenty-two lives were claimed that night along with an additional 59 wounded.

Grande will be joined by Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharell Williams, and more at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground on the 4. All proceeds of the event will go to the British Red Cross’ Manchester Emergency Fund.
