Daft Punk reportedly feature on song from rising Australian band

Daft Punk are perhaps the most coveted collaborators for artists of any genre. It’s no coincidence that the French duo’s most recent musical partners, The Weeknd and Arcade Fire, are among the world’s most well-respected and highest selling artists.

However, it seems as if one budding band from Australia has won the career lottery.

Multiple outlets have reported that Parcels, a Berlin-based band by way of Byron Bay, managed to recruit Daft Punk as co-writers and producers on their newest song, “Overnight,” from their forthcoming Hideout EP, which is backed by Kitsuné Musique and Daft Punk’s own Daft Trax imprint.

The track, which channels the funk and disco stylings of RAM era Daft Punk, is currently only available in Australia on iTunes and Spotify, but can be heard in full below:
