Must Listen: Imagine Dragons – Believer (Kaskade Remix)
Fact: there simply aren’t enough praiseworthy words to describe Kaskade’s latest remix for Imagine Dragons.
With his “Believer” flip, the veteran producer provides a subtle but meaningful re-work, layering the dark and gritty structure of the original with kinetic electronic instrumentation. The song slides along the rails of Kaskade’s glowing synth melodies, sparkling with syncopated vocals and unexpected percussive elements.
Though high quality Kaskade releases can hardly be surprising at this point, “Believer” is the best of his best: a fresh and instantly compelling track, bursting with experimental energy.
