LCD Soundsystem announce comeback album, headline slot at Warehouse Project

It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for.

LCD Soundsystem‘s big comeback albumAmerican Dream, will be released on Sept. 1. The band has also announced a headlining slot for Manchester’s Warehouse Project, which takes place Sept. 16 and 17, just a few weeks after the album’s release.

Over the past several weeks, band frontman James Murphy has made announcements about the album being done, drumming up continued excitement for its release.

The band has already teased two singles from the forthcoming album, “American Dream” and “Call the Police.” The 10-track album will be the first from the band since 2010’s This is Happening.

Accompanying the comeback album will be a world tour, with stops in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris, Glasgow, Manchester, London, and multiple stops in North America. Tickets for the tour go on sale June 21 and can be purchased on the band’s website.
