Listen to Ephwurd’s driving bass remix of GRiZ & Big Gigantic’s ‘Good Times Roll’

After the wild success of his most recent LP, Good Will Prevail, and the supporting tour in 2016, GRiZ has decided to continue the movement with a sequel: the Good Will Continue tour. On top of that, producer duo Ephwurd (comprised of Datsik and Bais Haus) released an absolutely savage remix of GriZ and Big Gigantic‘s “Good Times Roll” to drum up more excitement for the tour.

The original track — a soulful tune that’s a perfect mesh of GRiZ and Big G’s signature funky styles — is thrown for a loop in Ephwurd’s remix. The duo’s bass house remix of the album’s standout track is chaotic in the best possible way. Though it starts off slow and soulful like the original, the track quickly picks up the pace, dropping into upbeat, driving bass. In between choruses, Ephwurd slows it back down, emphasizing the original track’s passionate vocals and brassy instrumentals.

The remix has hit just in time for the syndication of the duo’s Eph’d Up Radio which will be broadcast on iHeartRadio/Evolution. The Show will air bimonthly at midnight EDT on the second and fourth Fridays starting Friday, June 30. Listeners can expect a rollicking hour packed with tunes from Hi-Lo, Chocolate Puma, Diplo, and of course some surprises from the duo themselves.
