Seven Lions has been releasing work of art after work of art over the past few months, and shows no signs of slowing down. His latest release, a remix of Myon and Alissa Feudo’s “Omen in the Rain,” premiered on Anjunabeats on June 23, leading listeners gracefully into the weekend.

The entire first half of the nearly five-minute remix is a dramatic build-up – a musical trait of which Seven Lions has proven his mastery time and again. His rework of “Omen in the Rain” is an almost spiritual journey, in which he takes the listener down a melodic, emotional dubstep path. He toys intricately with Feudo’s vocals, echoing and chopping them with great deliberation just before the drop takes over the piece.

Ultimately, Seven Lions’ newest remix is four minutes and 40 seconds of pure bliss, acting as the perfect kickoff to the weekend.
