Sven Väth, Uner, and Technasia announced as first guest speakers at IMS College – Malta

Pete Tong‘s International Music Summit (IMS) has become the premier force that brings together people across the electronic music industry to discuss its current state and how to best move forward in the future. Outside of business, IMS also aims to nurture those just entering into it as well — from production, to management, to promotion.

Last year, IMS launched an immersive “summer camp” on the European island of Malta called IMS College, which offers a “crash course in electronic music” where students can “Learn by day, party by night.” Leaders in the industry will be holding keynote speeches and workshops around four central pillars of performance, production, promotion, and publishing — by the end, they’ll be given tools needed to succeed in all facets of electronic music.

The first round of guest speakers have been announced, further boosting the promising nature of IMS college: Sven VäthUnerTechnasia, Agoria, and up-and-coming talent Mia Amare will be representing the artist side. Joining them will be higher-ups from Beatport, R&S, and more, as well as professors from Berklee College of Music to round out the experience.

Summer Camp badge prices run at €70 for 2 days of education and 3 nights of parties. You can purchase them here.
