Mura Masa releases two songs off of forthcoming debut album
Only a week remains until Mura Masa will release his self-titled debut LP. Over the past several months, the British producer has engendered a great deal of excitement across the dance, hip hop, and pop spectrums through systematically releasing a selection of tracks from the forthcoming album. Last week, he impressed audiences with his Damon Albarn collaboration, “Blu,” as well as a solo original, “Second 2 None.”
Today, July 7, Mura Masa has unveiled two more singles: “Nuggets,” an upbeat number with 20-year-old Dublin rapper Bonzai, and “Helpline,” a subdued, but buoyant piece with frequent associate Tom Tripp. The two new tracks come ahead of the producer’s debut Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 this weekend.
