REZZ shares the first song from her unreleased debut album, ‘Relax’
Over the past three years, Isabelle Rezazadeh has grown from a bedroom producer into an international phenomenon. Now at its halfway mark, 2017 is looking to be her her biggest year yet. Thanks to her well-honed fusion of industrial and bass music elements, REZZ has earned coveted sets at festivals including Ultra, EDC, and Bonnaroo over the past several months. However, the 22-year-old producer announced her biggest career development thus far on Monday: her impending debut album.
Though Mass Manipulation is due for release via mau5trap on Friday, August 4, Rezazadeh has decided to roll out much of the LP systematically by unveiling a new track every Friday in July, each of which will come alongside exclusive merchandise. The artist has noted that her album will draw from the breadth of her creative spectrum, further revealing its earliest supporters:
Oh just an FYI, this album is probably everything you’d hope to hear from me and the style I create

Now, as the calendar turns to July 7 on the east coast, REZZ has released the album’s lead single, “Relax.” Opening Mass Manipulation in the vein of a beguiling, ominous hypnosis recording, the haunting vocals and strident synthesis of “Relax” will be familiar to many of the artist’s particularly devout fans; she’s featured the song in certain sets since as early as Shambhala in August of last year.
There is nothing of importance for you to do except relax….

Ultimately, the harrowing number presents a strong introduction to REZZ’s first full-length studio output, as she blend the powerful rhythms and sinister sensibilities which have gained her such renown. “Relax” is available to stream in full below, and will be accompanied a music video later today.
