Touch Sensitive releases new song with entrancing visual

Future Classic veteran Touch Sensitive is known for his ability to fuse bouncy rhythms with vintage sounds. Premiering a new single and a visual to go along with it, the Australian producer adds “Lay Down” to his collection of beats.

The video, directed by Lost Art, matches retro animations to the nostalgic feel of the song — possibly taking influence from vaporwave stylings — such as the simple gradient backgrounds and patterns of seemingly random objects floating across the screen. The track, beginning with an airy intro, breaks into belting vocals over a solid piano groove. The vocals persist as the song swells in and out, until a slow breakdown poses the question, “who are we to tell each other right or wrong?”
