Maceo Plex wants to do a free show in Charlottesville following neo-Nazi rally
Though there’s no denying the state of tension that’s gripped the United States following last weekend’s neo-Nazi and white supremacy rally that led to the death of a woman and multiple injuries, people from coast to coast have since spoken out to denounce the hatred and spread a message of hope and peace.
Among these is techno producer Maceo Plex, who has proposed doing a free show in Charlottesville to promote a message of unity and equality.
Let’s do a free party in Charlottesville to promote & dance for unity & equality, and fight those @realDonaldTrump supporting neo nazi’s.

Several artists have expressed interest in being a part of the proposed show, including Soul Clap, Coyu, Modeselektor, Nick Murphy and more.
Maceo Plex is serious about making this show happen. Just a few days after the initial tweet, he posted another looking for promoters to bring his concept to life.
Any serious promoters in Virginia that would like to take part in a free event to promote Unity & fight neo-nazi rhetoric/violence?
