Diplo and Starrah dropped a surprise five-track EP together [Stream]

Diplo and Starrah have some of the loftiest songwriting and production credits in the business between the two of them, with a combined list of megastars that includes Madonna, Beyoncė, Katy Perry, Calvin Harris, and Drake, to name a few. The pair first struck a chord together when they linked up for “Swerve,” a mellow trap beat polished by laid back versework from Starrah that landed earlier this month. Now the pair are revealing that isn’t all they had under the hood, following up with a five-track EP that plays upon their evidently harmonious production styles.

The aptly titled Starrah X Diplo EP, out now on Mad Decent, ropes together “Swerve” with four additional collaborations, each playing upon the same catchy blend of hip-hop, R&B, trap, and reggae. Starrah provides the vocals, while Diplo plays with tightly wound downtempo beats, rounding out a collection fresh slow jams primed for extended late night drives. Stream Starrah X Diplo here.
