Evil Needle – Pays Her Bills (ft. Noah) [Exclusive]

Paris-based producer Evil Needle has announced a new LP Abyssal and released its first single, a collaboration with vocalist Noah dubbed “Pays Her Bills.” A subdued intro belies the smooth groove that will underpin the entire track.

With a style that is clearly indebted to early 90s hip hop, swirling synths give the track flavor and a rumbling bass provides a solid foundation for Noah’s vocals, which the producer wisely allows to take center stage.

“I really enjoyed working with Noah on the song. I knew he was a talented vocalist ever since he sung on one of my previous instrumentals for fun when I was asking him about a potential collaboration. He sent me his draft and it was instantly sounding like I imagined the final song.”
