Four Tet to give benefit show for Mexico City hurricane victims
Four Tet is teaming up with London promoters Eat Your Own Ears and the Mexican restaurant, Casa Morita, to organize a benefit event to raise money to support victims of the large scale earthquake that struck Mexico City on September 19th. The 7.1 magnitude quake unsurprisingly led to infrastructural and environmental ravage, claiming the lives of more than 300 people.
As Mexico City struggles to recover from the massive quake, Four Tet is offering to help directly from his wheelhouse, coordinating a September 28th show in Phonox. Funds from the performance will be donated to the Red Cross of Oaxaca.
Four Tet will be joined by Joe Goddard and Mafalda, in addition to an array of special guest DJs. Tickets to the event are only available for purchase at the door of Casa Morita, given with a minimum required donation of 15 Euros, or $17.68. The benefit show will begin at 9 pm, extending until 3 am.
