Brasstracks – Brownstone ft BXRBER
Brooklyn-based duo Brasstracks have become known for crafting an electrifying live music outfit that fuses electronica, funk, hip-hop, indie-R&B, and whatever else strikes their fancy. Now the improvisational producing partnership — made up of Ivan Jackson and Conor Rayne — have enlisted the help of rising UK-native vocalist BXRBER on their newest original, titled “Brownstone.”
Building upon a steady stream of recent releases, including their original track “Fever” as well as a stirring cover of Lil Uzi Vert‘s “XO TOUR Llif3,” this latest venture into their emblematic soulful sound stamp relies on smooth, steady tempos, an irresistible horn section, and a throw-back jazz vibe. Combine Jackson on the trumpet, Rayne on the drums, and BXBER’s uplifting lyrical talents, and the result is a blithe and blissful track that catapults listeners to cloud nine.
