BREAKING: Volcano at Lost Lands Festival catches fire, festival resumes
Excision‘s inaugural Lost Lands may be the most lit festival on the horizon after all, as one of the volcanoes next to the main Prehistoric Paradox stage caught fire Saturday night during Destroid.
Around 11 PM a small fire began at the top of the volcano, where Destroid played their first live show together since Ultra 2016. Personnel acted quickly and the situation was handled in a number of minutes. Dancing Astronaut was on the scene and captured the footage below.
After a brief closure of the main stage and subsequent approval by the fire marshal and sheriff, the festival resumed with Zeds Dead. Albeit, the volcanos were then dormant. No word has been given on whether the awe-inspiring pyrotechnics will resume. Luckily, zero injuries were reported as a result.
