Yet to hit the tender age of 21, American/Swedish newcomer Rhys has spared little time stapling her name on the international circuit. Where standout Summer offering “Last Dance” took her into the spotlight, fans and critics alike noted something special from the young and talented pop prospect. On her return, Rhys sounds stronger than ever, with “Too Good To Be True” echoing the bold voice and scintillating electronic pop sound that the young Swede hallmarked courtesy of “Last Dance.” We could note the A-list producers and writers onboard (Jörgen Elofsson, FYI), but there’s a sense of character and charisma that far outshines the name dropping elements here and keeps us totally hooked on everything young Rhys touches right now.
