Seth Troxler calls upon UMF Mexico headliners to pledge donations to hurricane relief
Good guy Seth Troxler has a request for fellow Ultra Music Festival Mexico headliners.
The house and techno tastemaker called upon festival headliners to donate 10% of their artist fee to the earthquake relief efforts ongoing in Mexico, or alternatively, to match the amount that he is contributing to the initiative. He personally pledged $10,000, announcing his donation via Twitter yesterday.
@Mixmag I invite all other @UMFMexico headliners to join me. 10k or 10% of your fee from this upcoming show for Mexico earthquake efforts.

Troxler originally addressed Richie Hawtin, Knife Party, Dubfire, Nicky Romero, and Dash Berlin in his tweet, yet as of right now, none of the artists have responded to him — at least publicly. Martin Garrix, however, matched Troxler’s donation, also granting $10,000.
Big shout to @MartinGarrix on his pledge of 10k for @UMFMexico what a guy! Who’s next? @afrojack @arminvanbuuren

UMF Mexico has already shared its plans to donate 1,000,000 pesos to the country’s earthquake relief, a figure that equates to about $50,000 USD. 50% of UMF’s ticket sales will also be directed to the relief project.
