Avicii ft. Sandro Cavazza – Without You (Disco Fries Remix)

Disco Fries certainly have a deep understanding of sonic manipulation and creating songs that appeal to the masses. Their music has gained widespread attention for its feel-good elements and digestibility, with the New York-based duo having recently bolstered their standing in the commercial world with a slew of remixes to well-known pop tunes. After trying their hand and conquering the likes of Rita Ora’s “Your Song” along with “Fetish” by Selena Gomez, their next target has been revealed as Avicii.

They chose the Swedish icon’s recent work “Without You” to mold into their own vision, and did so in their usual manner of infusing a hint of vintage appeal into a contemporary canvas. Catchy guitar riffs wrap around Sandro Cavazza’s euphoric vocals, which blend together with a funk-inspired bass-line to create their signature Disco Fries sound; a pleasant one indeed. Surely, this version will become yet another fan favorite — one that is plenty the outfit’s own without compromising the ethos of the original.
