All good things must eventually come to an end, including deadmau5‘s monthly residency radio show on BBC Radio 1.

Broadcasting his penultimate show on November 2, deadmau5 tapped into techno, mixing two-hours of pulsating tracks from a variety of genre tastemakers, including Green Velvet, Shiba San, Dubfire, and Frost. “There’s no guest mix tonight, I wanted a full two-hours to myself. Tonight’s all about as much good music as we can cram in,” deadmau5 notes over the mix’s palpitating beats, going on to say that he’s “gearing up for something special” for the final installment of the radio series.

It’s no secret that deadmau5 is planning to release another album in 2018, rendering the finale show of the BBC Radio 1 residency as a potential platform for a related announcement, or the possible site of a new single’s debut. Whatever the producer has planned, fans can rest assured that deadmau5 won’t disappoint.
