FANGS – Murder

FANGS, or Danny D’Brito of Brass Knuckles fame, has conjured up an absurdly wicked single and accompanying music video in “Murder” — appropriately released on Halloween day. “Murder” sets FANGS’ identity as a tech house talent, with the musician incorporating bouncy synth progressions, chunky basslines, and drum patterns into a satisfying mix. That said, “Murder” samples the classic Damian Marley piece of the same name, and this adds a creepy edge to the overall effect when pitched down to match the track’s undertones.

“Murder’s” music video is equally cunning. Set in FANGS’ home base of LA, the plot follows along a man who sets out to commit murder that later ends up as the prey of his target. As FANGS’ first official release as a solo act, the record and its stunning visuals are primed to shoot him into tech house nobility at an expeditious rate.
