Kygo’s New Delhi performance cancelled due to heightened air pollution levels

Smog has stolen one of Kygo‘s shows.

The tropical house tastemaker will soon make his debut in India, scheduled to perform three consecutive shows in Hyderabad, New Delhi, and Mumbai from November 24–26, respectively.

While Kygo’s Hyderabad and Mumbai performances will proceed as planned, the Norwegian producer’s show in the country’s capital has been cancelled due to the “ongoing pollution levels in Delhi and the poor air quality in the area,” according to a statement released by event coordinator, Sunburn Festival. New Delhi air pollution levels currently rest 12-times above the World Health Organization’s recommended limit. Air quality concerns prompted United Airlines to suspend various flights destined for the capital last week.

Full refunds will be issued to all ticket holders of Kygo’s New Delhi show, slated to take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
