Montell2099 x 21 Savage – Hunnid On The Drop (Mr. Carmack Remix)

Earlier this year, Red Bull Sound Select brought together Montell2099 and 21 Savage on the ice cold collaboration “Hunnid On The Drop.” Mr. Carmack imparts a dark trap vibe to the original for his new remix, giving the finished product a looming energy with big room capabilities. The Los Angeles-based producer adds a colossal new drop with heavy trap influences and cinematic overtones to his new edit.

Not only does the new remix pop up in RL Grime‘s highly anticipated Halloween VI Mix, but it is also released as part of Red Bull’s college dance competition Bracket Reel Dance. The track follows Mr. Carmack’s recently released remix of Chromeo‘s “Fancy Footwork,” which the duo co-signed on Facebook as what “might be the best remix of this song EVER.” The new remix highlights Mr. Carmack’s impeccable sound design and forward-thinking experimentation.
