Wingtip – Cross Your Mind (Spencer Brown Mix)
Just days after releasing a new EP, Spencer Brown is back with a beautifully emotive rendition of Wingtip‘s “Cross Your Mind.”
He’s given Wingtip’s end-of-August release a serene trance-like makeover, upping the BPM and nearly doubling the length of the track. Brown takes out the bold horns featured in the chorus of Wingtip’s original track to mellow out the flow of the track for a delicate, peaceful vibe. It’s a completely different feel from the original, but the passionate vocals work just as well in Brown’s rework.
In addition to this remix, Brown released a three-track EP, Downpour, on Oct. 27 on Anjunabeats.
