Knodis – The Machine Is Feeling
While not many dance fans may know of Knodis, the enigmatic project made his debut in a big way when the name popped up alongside REZZ on “Premonition” off her debut album. The producer who claims to make “space music,” followed up the collaboration with his own solo original, “Broken Circuit,” that shed a light on the project’s sonic identity, which lives somewhere between REZZ’s smashing bass stabs and old-school Wolfgang Gartner’s distorted synths.
Coming forth with a sophomore solo track, “The Machine Is Feeling,” Knodis demonstrates his versatility and ability to play in the grey area between heavy genres. Aggressive, sporadic, slightly nostalgic, and just incredibly creative overall, “The Machine Is Feeling” further justifies the need for fans of REZZ to keep a close eye on Knodis as he continues to develop his artistic presence.
