Mike Hawkins – M808
Mike Hawkins has released his newest single, “M808.”
The Danish producer has previously released singles on major labels such as EMI, Parlophone, Ultra, and Size Records, amongst others. Hawkins’ newest single, released on Armada Music, is an extension of his artistic evolution over the past five years. While Hawkins originally got his start producing acclaimed big room tracks such as “Jump!” and “Hot Steppa,” one could argue that his body of work has shifted in conjunction with the evolution of future house in Europe and North America.
“M808” accompanies tracks such as “Klobber” and “Wombo” that characterize Hawkins’ more recent body of work, which is a testament to future house’s evolution, as well as Hawkins’ artistic ingenuity.
