Sophie Simmons shares emotive debut solo track ‘Black Mirror’
Daughter of KISS’s own Gene Simmons, Sophie Simmons has released her debut original track titled “Black Mirror.”
The emotive ballad lures the listener in with her enthralling vocals and a pulsing bassline. While this track is certainly a commercial house fixture, Simmons has worked with the likes of Yellow Claw and Cesqeaux in the past, indicating more electronic skewing releases may be in her future.
In an interview with Billboard, Simmons shared that she no longer lets her dad listen to her unfinished music because he continually shares her works in progress on his social media channels. Rumor has it that she will be releasing a full album later this year, but only time — or Gene Simmons’ Twitter account — will only tell when it comes to more 2018 releases.
