Movement Festival announces Phase Two lineup with Modeselektor, Tiga, Mija and more

The 10-year anniversary of Detroit’s Movement Electronic Music Festival is shaping up to be a momentous affair. After announcing a stacked Phase One lineup with seminal German group Kraftwerk at the helm, Paxahau Events has revealed an equally enticing Phase Two.

The new cast of talent is led by Modeselektor, who will join Kraftwerk (3D) and Dubfire (who will perform his Live:Hybrid show) as the Main Stage headliners. Furthermore, techno stalwarts Len Faki, Tiga, Joseph Capriati, Barem, Tin Man and more have been added.

OWSLA will host a showcase, with label affiliates Kill the Noise, Mija, What So Not, Alex Metric and more making appearances. Lastly, eclectic acts like RZA of Wu-Tang Clan, funk master Dam-Funk, and iconoclast Matthew Dear have been added.

In total, 64 new performances have been announced, joining Phase One talent like Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, Loco Dice, John Digweed, and more. Details on the official after parties are expected to arrive soon.

Movement takes place May 28-30 at Hart Plaza in Detroit. Tickets are on sale here.
