Let it drop, let it drop, let it drop: Kaskade announces Christmas album, releases first single [STREAM]

It’s beginning to sound a lot like a Kaskade Christmas.

The producer stopped by Pasquale Rotella’s Night Owl Radio show to lead the series’ 116^th episode and announced his intentions to release a seasonal album titled Kaskade Christmas during the broadcast. A release sure to top the “nice list,” Kaskade Christmas will feature an array of Christmas classics with a Kaskade spin, along with several new original tracks that Kaskade has written to “capture the mood of the season.”

While Kaskade Christmas will not arrive until later in the month, Kaskade has released the first single off of the seasonal album, a fluid house style rework of “Deck the Halls.” Featuring Erika as the track’s vocalist, Kaskade’s take on the Christmas staple seamlessly blends soulful deep house elements with piano and trumpet accents. A smooth sample of what remains to come on Kaskade Christmas, the latest product to come out of Kaskade’s workshop is sure to be quite the stocking stuffer.
