Crookers finally released their long, long, long anticipated new ep “Tons of Friends.” The album is very good, although it represents a new direction for the duo from Italia. It represents a move away from their past work in Electro House into more of an Indie Dance genre. Expect this album to be very popular everywhere, not just dance floors, and watch out for some sick remixes that are sure to drop soon. Here are a few of my favorite tracks off the album.

First, my favorite track off the album. Yelle is far and a way my favorite French singer, and her main producer, GrandMarnier, is a good friend of the Crookers duo. So apparently this song was a long time coming.

Second, another good track off the album that wasn’t released prior to the full album release: “Natural Born Hustler.” The song starts slow but then speeds up when the chorus drops.

Lastly, here’s a track that isn’t actually on the album, but those who pre-ordered the album got a free download of it. It’s more typical Crookers of past years.

Moguai is an up and coming house DJ/Producer who was recently signed by Deadmau5’s new recording label “Mou5trap”. Sounds similar to some of the things that Deadmau5 has put out in the past, and quite frankly anything produced by him is a must listen at this point. Not too mention that this song is approaching anthem like airplay around the world. This song can get addictive, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

This song was released the beginning of 2010, so it’s not brand spanking new, but it is starting to make serious waves. Crookers, A-Trak, and Steve Aoki have all used it as a centerpiece of their most recent live sets. Congorock, from LA and off A-Trak’s Fools Good Label, is sure to make some serious noise over the next few years.

The Caesars came out with “Jerk It Out” in early 2002 and it instantly became an instant hit, appearing in video games such as Dance Dance Revolution and FIFA Football. These two remixes are club bangers one by Patrick G (one previous Dancing Astronaut appearance) and the other by the Dirty Disco Youth (one previous appearance as well). N-Joy!

Progressive artist Wippenberg (from Germany) gets his song “Pong” mashed with super hit “Speed Up” from electro artist Funkerman. This track has been receiving major air time in all house clubs and will be for a while. Hope you enjoy the beat my fellow Dancing Astronaut’s. N-Joy!

DJ Antoine comes out with another amazing track called “In My Dreams”. The original came out in the summer of 2009, however the Chris Crime and Mike Candys DJ is relatively new.

The original mix has great vocals and an AMAZING drop!
