Festival news and lineup announcements have been coming at breakneck speed lately, with the East Coast in particular lighting up with headline banners and roster releases after Coachella made their annually anticipated splash nearly one week ago. Far from Indio, however, OutKast-featured, weekend-spanning events are emerging everywhere north of Miami (where the season unofficially kicks off in March), from Georgia to Delaware — and finally up to New York.

The hip-hop reunion aside, and beneath top-tier artists like Vampire Weekend and The Strokes, the festival presents Randall’s Island with must-see electronic acts — with that list only beginning at Skrillex. For starters, Disclosure will make a Big Apple festival appearance following the year of Settle. Then stealing some of the reunion spotlight from OutKast, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso are billed together as Departures.
