Nocturnal Wonderland 2011 is a wrap: but have you seen all our coverage?

Insomniac’s latest massive festival, Nocturnal Wonderland, is officially in the books. Once again, we have to take our hats off to the mega-festival experts for putting on one hell of a show. Everything about the event was impressive, including the unbelievable lineup, wondrous visual production, experienced security teams, free water refills, awesome carnival rides, and even the giant octopus installation that shot out flames (yup, you read that right). Read past the break for a summary of our coverage from the weekend.

While Insomniac sets the standard for event production this side of Ultra — but doesn’t mean they’re perfect. Click here to read our take on what worked and what didn’t at this year’s Nocturnal Wonderland.

THE AFTERPARTY

Alesso took control of the Playhouse for the official Recovery Party, and Dirty South stopped by to help close out the amazing festivities. You did see our photos on Facebook and special video flashback, right?

WHAT’S NEXT?

For those Southern California EDM fans who still don’t have Halloween plans, be sure to consider HARD Haunted Mansion or Escape from Wonderland (if you haven’t got your fill of Insomniac festivals). If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, consider checking out Monster Massive (they’re bringing a certain Dutchman named Armin into town).

So, what are you doing for Halloween?
