Sono – Better (Laurent Wolf remix)

Sono, a dance/electronica group from Hamburg, Germany, meet Laurent Wolf, the epic DJ/Producer from France and winner of the 2008 “Best DJ” title in the World Music Awards. Together, they have developed a massive Tribal House mix which will surely turn any party into a smashing rager.

Crying in the Rain (Van Gogh & Dave Ramone edit)

Probably one of the most iconic post-acid musicians to ever grace the scene Paul Walden aka Guru Josh is a man among boys in the world of house. However, most of his major success came in the 1990’s and it was not until 2008 when Big City Beats formed The Guru Josh Project and rereleased Infinity 2008 with DJ Klaas that Guru Josh would find major success in the new millennium. Peaking at number 1 around the globe, Infinity was a massive hit and now The Guru Josh Project is back with ‘Crying in the Rain,’ a synthetic, progressive house track that is guaranteed to get you off that seat. I’ve selected the Niels Van Gogh and Dave Ramone Radio Edit as the best from the release. Enjoy!

Throwback Thursday: Junior Jack – My Feeling

Junior Jack brings an ultra classic anthem for this week’s Throwback Thursday. Junior Jack is an Italian born house music producer who was responsible for many dance music hits since the early 90s. ‘My Feeling,’ which was released in 1999, is one of Junior Jack’s many dance music chart toppers. With a perfect beat and perfect vocals, ‘My Feeling’ would still fit into any DJ set today. Classic house.

Typical house music video.

EDX – Shy Shy (Martin Roth OMFG! remix)

Swiss DJ EDX is one of the most successful DJ’s of the past several years having collaborated and remixed everyone from Bob Sinclar and Kaskade, to Yves Larock and Robbie Rivera. Now he’s back with an original track entitled Shy Shy that is bound to make its mark on charts everywhere. I personally have a thing for the Martin Roth OMFG remix (probably because that’s a great name for a remix…) but definitely check out all the remixes. Enjoy!

Calvin Harris – Flashback

The third single off Calvin Harris’ recent album is amazing. Definitely one of my favorite songs released recently. America is retarded for not playing him on the radio. I guess we only play what American record labels tell the radio stations to play. Flashback is an excellent dance track with excellent vocals. Bravo, Calvin. Also check out the Eric Prydz remix and the David Guetta remix. Initial reviews applaud the Eric Prydz remix and critique Guetta’s as a letdown. I think there is a consensus that the original is hard to beat.

The music video is silly good so watch it!

Ades Vapor – Homestuff

The weekend may be over, but you can pretend it isn’t by rocking out to “Homestuff,” a bumpin’ track off Ades Vapor’s EP of the same name. It the latest release by Monseigneur Vapor, a budding 20-year-old house DJ/college student from France. The other song off his new EP, aptly titled “Where The Party At,” is just as fresh so give it a spin if you get the chance.

Count & Sinden – Mega

Mega is the latest single from London house duo Count & Sinden. They are a relatively new group, you may have heard their hit single Beeper from 2008 featuring Kid Sister. If you’ve ever seen the Power Rangers, then you might be able to picture Megazord growing to double the size of a skyscraper and pwning some villains to this song. Dance floor destroyer.
