Mark Knight – Devil Walking (Original Mix)
We are admittedly a little late on this track, as it came out last week. But Pete Tong just named it his essential new tune and it has shot up the beatport charts. Enjoy some Tech House that gets particularly good after the first two minutes.
Bonus track: I was at ETD.pop last night, which was insane. For me at least, Boys Noize blew all the others out of the water. Even if you don’t like his songs just listening from your computer, you have to go see him in concert. He puts on a ridiculous show and his songs translate perfectly in the concert arena. Hardwell & Funkadelic – Girl Get Down (PeaceTreaty remix)
I wasn’t sure if this was really Laidback when I first got it (even though the blogosphere was pushing that). The vocals and buildup of the original were excellent but the drop was nothing special… add in a dirty drop and what do you have? WOW!
UPDATE: Laidback Luke confirmed on his Twitter that he did not make this remix.
UPDATE UPDATE: The true remixer of this song is PeaceTreaty! They deserve lots of credit, this is an excellent remix.
Benny Benassi ft. Kelis – Spaceship (Various Remixes)
Benny Benassi brings us an EPIC production called “Spaceship”. Those of you from California going to ETD POP and the POP after party tomorrow (at Ruby Skye) will have to look for this massive track during Benny’s set! The vocals with Kelis are stunningly soothing. “So Get High”…what an understatement, this track wants to make you fly. All the remixes are great, however EDX’s has been stamped as the BEST progressive track of 2010 bar none! Anthem’s like “Spaceship” are what makes us house listeners better than everyone else. Nuff said…N-Joy!
