Protocol Recordings drops three EPs of new talent, announces fifth anniversary event

Thousands of producers and electronic music industry executives will be descending on Amsterdam October 18 for Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), one of the industry’s biggest events of the year. Each rendition of ADE brings incredible performances as well as industry announcements and lectures. This year, Nicky Romero‘s imprint Protocol Recordings will be celebrating it’s fifth anniversary, and the label has a series of special releases to help  fans gear up for the event.

Protocol Recordings has launched a new imprint, Protocol Lab, where newcomers and rising stars have the opportunity to showcase their diversity and talent for production. In the three weeks before leading up to ADE, Protocol Lab released three EPs featuring brand new releases from some of their most promising artists.

The first four-track EP contains music from Ovion & Sam Void, Maximals, Bout & Sovth, Teamworx, Sunstars and Funkybeat. From the feel-good melodies of the opening “Faded” to the wild electro synths of “One Time,” Protocol has a track for every atmosphere.

Raiden starts the second EP out strong with his heavy house track “Acid Love,” followed by groovy vibes from Execute & Faderx’s “Cabrio” and Tarlan & Lexon’s “Saxy,” finally ending with the indie-dance gem “Magnetic” by Funkybeat.

The third Protocol Lab EP channels club and dance floor friendly vibes with Nilson & Freddy See’s progressive house “Back Again,” Trilane & YARO’s upbeat “Hot For U,” and a dance floor ready remix of “On My Mind” by Navarra. Funkybeat once again closes out the third EP, making for the perfect pregame compilation for ADE.

On October 18th, Protocol will take over The Melkweg to celebrate their fifth anniversary as well as showcase Protocol and Protocol Lab’s vast array of talent. Nicky Romero, Florian Picasso, Kryder, Teamworx, and over 20 additional artists will be performing to celebrate Protocol’s success. For those fortunate enough to go to ADE, tickets for Protocol’s fifth anniversary event can be purchased here.<
