SoundCloud adds new Promote tool for artists to further target audiences
Music streaming service SoundCloud has just unveiled a new tool for artists with premier memberships called Promote. The tool allows creators to book campaigns that specifically targets audiences, boosting their music to the top of users’ feeds. In line with Facebook and Instagram’s advertising options, targeting options include age, gender, location, device, and genre.
SoundCloud Premier allows artists to distribute to all major music services, provides competitive revenue share earnings, and grants users 100 percent of rights and payouts from other streaming services.
By adding additional ways to both bring in earnings from premier and help artists reach their promotional goals, SoundCloud’s mission to engage and expand its current user base could be an integral step in boosting the overall streaming ecosystem even further.
