Paul McCartney to be featured on next The Bloody Beetroots release
Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo has returned to the studio for another original production, this time bringing along the legendary, former Beatle Paul McCartney for the track "Out of Sight." Walking a fine line between electronica and full blown punk rock, The Bloody Beetroots have developed into electronic music's most respected live performers and it appears that McCartney shares a similar respect for Rifo's visionary productions. Always pushing the envelope, Rifo enlisted McCartney for the vocals of his latest punk rocktronica output. It may seem like an unorthodox move for the aging rock star, but Paul has always been in tune the brightest and best in music - citing MGMT as one of his favorite bands back when they released Oracular Spectacular.
10 tracks to celebrate the End of the World
Well, as predicated by the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, it’s the end of the world as we know it. Unfortunately, only one of us is John Cusack, so the rest of us have no choice but to party into oblivion. At least we can thank the Mayans for conceding doomsday to a Friday. To accompany Armageddon, we have provided a list of tunes that will add appropriate theme music to the backdrop of imminent annihilation. Hopefully, you can find consolation in their uplifting message. Godspeed.
The Bloody Beetroots – Rocksteady (Gigi Barocco Remix)
Italian producer Gigi Barocco takes The Bloody Beetroots latest screamer "Rocksteady" and injects it full of adrenaline. Like freebasing monstrous bass, this remix makes your heart jump out of your chest while it kicks you in the head with steel-toed boots. Heavy dubstep wobbles and huge percussion turn the energy up to 11 - it's not easy to go harder than Sir Cornelius Rifo but Gigi Barocco has risen to the challenge -- with impressive results.
