Daft Punk’s Manhattan fashion shoot appears in August edition of Vogue
Earlier this summer Daft Punk were seen walking around Manhattan, donning their St. Laurent suits and iconic helmets posing for an (at the time) undisclosed magazine. Appearing for the first time in a Vogue fashion shoot, Guy-Man De Homem Christo and Thomas Bangalter are joined by supermodel Karlie Kloss in this month's edition of the renowned fashion magazine as they pose in various locations throughout Manhattan.
Dance music rising: UK stats show highest market share since 2006
According to a recent data released by the BPI (British Phonographic Industry), dance music is at its most popular in the UK since 2006. The buzzing genre now has a market share of 16.3%, third behind the two largest shareholders (pop and rock, respectively).
Daft Punk get immortalized as action figures
In addition to the Random Access Memories vinyls, Daft Punk diehards will soon have another piece of memorabilia to add to their collections -- robotic action figures. The figurines were created by S.H. Figuarts who are behind many of the action figures stocked on toy store shelves.
