I was definitely surprised to see such a hard hitting remixer as the Crookers get out-mixed on their own track. You probably know the Italian DJs from their Day N Nite remix and you might know the speakers-breaker, Knobbers. U.K.-based Black Noise pulled off a massive remix of this recent Crookers track that featured rapper Kardinal Offishall. I wasn’t a big fan of the original version of Put Your Hands on Me but Black Noise took out all vocals except for some small samples and added a funktastic beat (who knew anyone could make a Crookers beat more funktastic?). The makeover of the track was impressive enough to make the lineup for the upcoming Ministry of Sound Annual 2010 (absolutely loaded with club bangers).
