Travis Barker and Steve Aoki combine to create ‘Misfits’ off of Travis’ new album Give The Drummer Some. This track has elements from Aoki’s crazy hard electro style fused with Travis’ awesome drumming. Has the same sort of feel as “Turbulence“…screaming vocals and a drop that just bangs. Props to BC The Designer for sending this my way.
Question: Is the Dancing Astronaut community feeling this track?

sounds good I like it, not a fan of screamo tho
Question: Is the Dancing Astronaut community feeling this track?
Answer: absolutely not
Aoki ruined his sets at Ultra by playing this garbage. The last thing I want to listen to at an EDM show is screamo
Wow this hurts my ears WTF! Why post this shit?
love it. screamo might be too much for some but awesome track.
feeling the live drum buildup at the start, normally hate ‘real’ instruments in dance but this is fresh and done well…however its really not about the screaming vox, ok ya gotta respect it again for being fresh but it really doesnt do it for me
here is what i think…….NO!

Garbage
In likes brokes genres, i feel hard and agresive this track, like steve aoki’s style ( lately he experiment with rock touches i think so) i like, but for dancing astronaut feels it’s too dirty
i realy like this, but you guys should stick to your genre… if im looking for this kind of music, ill look elswere. its not about the artist, its about the song, so even if deadmau5 made this song, its not dance…
i love it from 1:04 onwards but the screamo sort of wrecks the song for me
EDM is EDM. don’t ruin it with some poser drummer hitting crash cymbals on the quarters expressing the upper limit of his ‘talent’.
I think the idea of drums playing in EDM is pretty cool. I think this track is kinda garbage and sounds more like elctro/metal than any sort of music. Travis clearly has drum skills but I think that the song is garbage. Tommy Lee playing along with Deadmau5 at UMF was legit though.
