deadmau5 announces Fall North American tour, summer-release DVD

Deadmau5 has been traveling the globe with his massive LED cube and helmet in tow, and the artist has finally announced an upcoming tour of the good old USA for good measure this fall. The tour kicks off August 5 at Lollapalooza in Chicago, and includes 19 total stops across the US in major cities such as LA, Atlanta, Dallas, Philadelphia, Boston, and New York. No word on when exactly tickets will go on sale, but this the release teases a whole new live production. If it’s anything like the last one, we’re sure to be in for a treat.

If your city isn’t lucky enough to be on the list, you’re not completely out of luck. Ultra Music will be releasing a DVD of deadmau5’s performance at London’s Earls Court. Check YouTube for spoilers, but the DVD is sure to be even better. To cap things all off, there’sd a “deadmau5 Tough Mix App” coming out as well as a special contest to re-design the iconic mau5head. All the details are after the break — there’s just too much to put on the front page.

Full lineup of dates and locations available after the break.
