David Guetta & Afrojack – Lunar (Original Mix)
Hot off the tantalizing preview from a few days ago, heavyweights David Guetta and Afrojack have finally unleashed the full version of “Lunar” that will surely send some of you astronauts into orbit. In a note on his Facebook page, David Guetta himself reveals that this is the first single from the electronic side of his upcoming album, Nothing But The Beat, which is slated for release on August 29 (August 30 in the US).
Reminiscent of early Daft Punk (and perhaps 80’s 8-bit video game music), “Lunar” sports a spacey sound that most avid fans would not have expected from either DJ individually, which is refreshing. In the end, it is vastly clear that both DJs went out of their comfort zones to produce this single, and for that we couldn’t be happier.
